Bridger is a young child. And so, for the reason of his age, his parents are active in assisting him open and respond to his mail and messages. Another direct way to communicate with Bridger is his parents’ Instagram accounts.
Since Bridger’s incident, his face and mental well being have been healing quicker than had been expected. His family feels very strongly that it is because of all the love that has been given to him through your words, gifts, prayers, and kind thoughts. The good people from around the world have made a miraculous difference in his healing process!
Thank you, every single one of you! This would have been a much more sorrowful and lonely story for us without each of you. You have literally changed our lives for the better.

What is the BEST way for me to contact Bridger?
The most direct way to communicate to Bridger is through his parents, Teila and Robert. They both have Instagram accounts (linked above), and they also have a P.O. Box that they check frequently.
Does Bridger actually get my messages?
His parents make an especial effort for Bridger and Little Sister to hear ALL of your words of love and encouragement. All of your notes are being kept, and organized into books. His parents want to keep them for future generations to read over and over again.
Is Bridger’s family asking for money?
Please note that our family is NOT asking for money. If you see a GoFundMe, or some other fundraiser set up for Bridger, please report it to Robert, Teila, or Nicole . There are MANY generous people who truly want to give Bridger something nice with funds collected. These kind people are so very appreciated by our family. However, we, the Walker family have elected to kindly not endorse any of these campaigns. Once again, if you see something like this, please report it to us.
Who manages the “Bridger Challenge” email?
Currently, the email is managed by Bridger’s Auntie Cole. But, at some point in the future, she will turn over its management to Bridger’s mom and dad.
How big is Bridger’s family?
Bridger has four siblings. He has a big sister, a big brother, a little sister, and a little brother. Bridger is in the middle. He also has both of his parents.
He had two dogs, a German Shepherd/ Collie cross named Elektra, and a Poodle/ Lab cross named Thor. Sadly, Elektra died of old age November 2020. We are very thankful that we still have Thor around to keep up helping Bridger and his siblings to heal from Bridger’s incident with our friends’ dog. It has been a blow to our family to lose Elektra. The year is 2020; what more can we say?
Bridger also has numerous extended family members that live close by, including his Auntie Cole and her loving and supportive husband, and all four of his of grandparents. We also have many extended family members beyond Southern Wyoming, who have also been very supportive to Bridger in his recovery.
